Hail Pale Ale is the perfect tailgate beer! Golden, light-bodied and delicious, it is dripping with hoppy goodness that includes notes of citrus, apricot, and peach. This well-balanced beer is made with maize (yellow flaked corn) and blue (corn grits) to celebrate all things Michigan.

Poured into a standard pint glass
Cloudy, burnt-orange with a nice 2 inch cap of foam
Aroma-Subtle fruity hop notes, biscuit
Taste-Zippy, fruity hops, orange zest with a bit of a dry finish
Overall, very quaffable for the 7.2 ABV- Cries out for a tailgate food pairing like spicy wing, loaded nachos, or grilled brats with onions and peppers--Very solid brew worth seeking out and a must for Wolverine fans

12 oz. can.
Canned 08/29/19.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy golden body with some lacing. Nose is very, very subdued with very slight citrus and even slighter pine. Taste brings out a bit more with flavors of citrus and pine, finishing crisp and fairly dry. Nice feel and overall, a good sessionable APA from SE MI. Cheers!

This needs to come back in glass bottles and it needs to happen now! The canned version is one I have not tried for this. Although this beer is pretty middle of the road or standard for a place like North Peak, but this beer does make the APA category less crappy and more happy!
