12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/31/2017. Pours fairly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, coriander, peppercorn, citrus peel, pine, wheat, white bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, coriander, peppercorn, citrus peel, pine, wheat, white bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, coriander, peppercorn, citrus peel, pine, wheat, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop/spice astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an excellent White DIPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. never aggressive. Very juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; balanced spices and a solid pale/wheat malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example. Doesn't have any Belgian yeast though, but the spices and fruity hops pick up the slack; so this still tastes spot on.
