Poured at 47°F from a 12oz bottle (bottled on 12Jan16) into a Spiegelau wheat glass. Consumed on 14Mar16.
LOOK: Pours with two fingers worth of white foam that shrinks into a quarter fingers worth after 2 and a half minutes. Gold in color with a mild amount of cloudiness. Ascending bubbles are moderate in quantity and both small and medium in size. Lacing is moderate in quantity and very thick.
SMELL: Strong aromas of wheat nearly overpower mild lemon zest aromas and subtle aromas of spicy and floral hops.
TASTE: The initial taste is composed of strong wheat and mild lemon zest flavors. Mild spicy and floral hops enter immediately to bring balance to the brew, unlike in the aroma. Subtle grass and hints of bitter hops complete the final act as all previous flavors press on.
FEEL: Light-bodied and lightly carbonated. Goes down smooth. Finishes very crisp.
NOTE: A good Wheat Ale. Very refreshing. This is definitely something you drink during and/or after mowing the lawn on a hot day. This is nothing mind-blowing, but it is still worth checking out in my opinion.

Pours a cloudy, golden color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of slight sweet malt, pale malt, slight hops, slight spice, and wheat. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight wheat, hops, and slight spice. Overall, weak appearance, but good feel, and decent aroma and blend.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 7/22/2015. Pours lightly hazy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hops notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, light banana/pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly creamy/bready/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a nice pale wheat ale style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

With the laziness of summer winding down, the thirst for crisp, refreshing and citrusy taste remain high. A dry, bready backbone and a hop-forward attitude begins to frame the flavors that North Peak brewers have so keenly sculpted for precisely this time of the year.

Above its creamy straw body and its fluffy white foam stance, the supple breadiness of fresh dough begins to align with citrusy hops for an inviting, tantalizing perfume. Its racy flavors fall on the tongue with malty wheat flavor and feel, a soft confectioner's sweetness and a hint of fresh-baked cereal grain.

As the malt sweetness and bready textures begin to dissolve on the palate, the middle is awash with hops. White grapefruit, under-ripened orange, pineapple, lemon and melon gives the beer a hoppy balance that closes with the modest bitterness of citrus leaf and light minty spruce.

While the finish trends bitter, crisp and malty-dry; its medium-light body is supported with the undertow of light bread and its associated starchy substrate. With an aura of citrus wafting about in aftertaste, a late charge of dough returns to remind the senses of the beer's wheaten soul.
