got this in a growler at the place on 8/23/10
A- for a brown ale this brew is dark! pours dark almost like a stout. tan head that leaves medium lacing.
S- roasted barley. some slight chocolate going on.
T- just how it smells. has a slight bitterness to it but nothing to crazy. alcohol is undetected.
M- medium bodied. good carbonation.
D- wish i had more than a growler!
Overall- well going to the place i thought it was only the right thing to grab something special. to me this is no way a brown. it's more of a stout or a porter. but either way it's damn tasty.
