this beer is brewed for Hemelinger by Hofbrauhas Wolters GmbH in Braunschweig Hemelinger was a rival of Beck in Bremen and this beer is brewed to the original recipe of Hemelinger
It pours a dark brown with a three finger light tan frothy head that lasts and leaves a nice lacing in the glass. It has an earthy smell of dark malts. It tastes better than it smells with a nice blend of bitterness with the caramel malt. It was a bit thin in the mouth but went down well. I think it is a nice dunkel true to character would drink another
