Copenhagen 7/8 2023. 33 cl bottle from Edeka Center Bremen Hastedt, Pfalzburger Strasse, Bremen. Simple white label with a silver rim with a logo formed as a coat of arms and the name of the brewery in gothic letters.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intensewith a sweet malty odor mingling with a fruity scent. Sweet pale malts, cardboard and bread. Oxidized apple and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is rather dry.
Run of the mill German Pilsner with a light bitter touch.
