Witbier is not a style I´ve seen Brazilian breweries produce much of, but here´s one from southern Brazil. 600 ml bottle, on to the beer:
This beer looks like an orange. Some parts do fade to yellow-orange though. Not a lot of head retention or lacing from this offering. Upfront in the aroma, coriandor starts things off, followed by a big, juicy orange slice. As the beer enters the though, things change. There isn´t a whole lot of taste here. Very light amount of rolloed oats flavor first, then a light sprinkle of orange. There´s maybe a thin layer of spice tasted, but that could be the carbonation teasing me. The carbonation is on the bubbly side, and I´d prefer it it were softer.
Well, I now know what not to buy when I return to southern Brazil. A one and out beer.
