Pouring reddish-dark brown with a light brown head, the retention is OK, but I don't see much lace. The nose is decent, there's light roast, caramel, but again, a rather prominent sugar sweetness. I do get some sweetened cocoa as well. The palate opens sweet and roasty, with a grainy and sugary sweetness. The cocoa character is present, but is rather washed out by the sweetness. Medium light in body, the finish is sweet, sugary and slightly roasty. Decent stuff.
