600 ml bottle (exp. date a month ago! 07/2016), pouring on a pilsner glass. Golden to very light amber liquid, with a bit off-white foam. High foam with medium to short retention, not dense at all. Liquid is clear with some very tiny sediments revolving up and down with the carbonation. Nice herbal aroma of hops with a bit of bubblegum. Same on mouth, but somewhat stronger. At first, guarana notes (like Brazilian soda) show very clearly but then fade into the hoppy and sweet character. At first it's pretty bitter also, which I didn't expect, but after the first glass it ain't perceived as fiercely as it was. I imagine guarana contributes to its bitterness. Medium body, dry finish. Alcohol shows a bit too much. I must say it doesn't get my preferred hop profile, and I'm not that into bohemian pilsners. It certainly is a beer to remember and to have it when not at high prices, but overall it has something unbalanced in it.

Poured almost no head. Nice light copper color. Aroma of a true pilsener with herbal hops and malt and hints of guaranĂ¡.
Good carbonation. Light-medium body, good bitterness but still refreshing. Malt sweetness and a delicate hint of guaranĂ¡ are also felt. Good quality beer, full of flavors, especially considering it is a pilsen.

Extra pilsen brewed with guaranĂ¡.
Pours slightly hazy dark yellow color. Nice white head with good retention and lacing.
Aroma is spicy aromatic and herbal hops (saaz).
Taste is grainy sweet malts with lots of herbal and earthy hops. Nice bitter aftertaste. I can taste a little guarana towards the end.
Body is very light with sparkling carbonation.
Nice bohemian pilsener, one of the best in brazil.
