look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

The appearance had a dark brown to black color, one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute and leaves no lacing. The smell had some dark roasted coffee beans allowing a decent amount of light chocolates to a nice aromatic dark fruits such as plums. The taste was sweet to bitter to roast between the chocolate to coffee to dark fruits. No aftertaste but has a quick dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium on the body; however there’s a decent sessionable quality to it to help me want more. Carbonation is pretty good for the style and for me as it runs rampantly smooth around my mouth and tongue. Overall, pretty nicely done Schwarzbier.
