This is one great beer!! Had one served in a tulip glass at the brew pub in Talkeetna Alaska. Small light tan head with some lacing and average retention. Medium density mahogany color with lots of yellowish/amber highlights coming through when held to a
light. Great aroma and taste of bready malt, sweet caramel malt and some chocolate and dark fruit. Slightly bitter in the finish. Kind of a hybrid between a Red Ale and a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Mouthfeel was rich, smooth with a little alcohol warmth. Some sweet maltiness with following bitterness. Complex, tasty and strong!!
