Hidden away in the woods is a special place where friends gather and magical things grow. This delicious and refreshingly juicy IPA is best enjoyed around the campfire.

Look: Clear bright yellow with a high white head that has superb retention and leaves excellent lacing.
Smell: Good. Hoppy and piney with a slight orange note.
Taste: Great strong hop bite with a very faint sweet candied finish.
Feel: High in the mouth and coarsely carbonated.
Overall: Phenomenal bitterness and simply a really great beer on all levels.

familiar but very well executed, clean to drink, holds up to spicy food very well, and is quite sessionable with its lighter grain body and restrained hop bitterness, sort of floral and springy to me, but versatile enough for year round drinking, they did a great job with this. pretty pale and clear but not quite sparkling, short white head, some lace as it drinks. an obvious nose of northwestern hops, high alpha varietals but perhaps expressed a little softer, some woodsy pine, abundant citrus, and just enough sweetness to be balanced, honey character to me, great with the hops, and this ends up kind of simple and complex at the same time, the best of the ingredients has been extracted. the flavor leads with spruce, tangerine, pine sap, clover honey, and grapefruit pith, nice mix and nice balance, the hops have light grassy and spicy character too, not overdone and less dry hoppy and fruity than a lot of west coast types, despite the strong citrus presence, seems more kettle derived, a little more of a classic recipe. the body is light, i dont mind the light residual sweetness which highlights the hops, and overall this is delicious, fresh, and primo pizza beer. very solid offering from denali, one of their best ive had to date...

Good West Coast IPA. Had a pint at the Denali Brew Pub in Talketna Alaska. Beautiful almost clear orange color with a small foamy white head. The chilled beer glass probably reduced the head size. Lots of complete bands of lacing and better than average head retention. Tasty and good aroma too. Piney and citrus, hop forward flavor. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, quite bitter and crisp. I had it with a brisket sandwich and it went down easy.

Pretty aggressive ipa bitter and somewhat balanced but overall easy to drink and goes well with food. Very lemon hops and sharp grapefruit. Worth trying tastes homebrewed!
