On tap at Callahan's, in a 12(?) oz. snifter.
A rotating/seasonal release, though it seems to be available much of the time.
The first barleywine I've tried. Very unique and I really enjoyed it. Color is a nice dark brown and has a fairly small but nice thick head. The taste is very strong, with hops, malts, pine, etc. Smell is a fantastic blend of those flavors; I tend to sniff it as much as I drink it. Fairly smooth and goes down well, provided you haven't had too much. The alcohol content is rather high and quite noticable. Even though I usually don't try to consume more than 1 of these (I usually have 2-3 other beers before this), I still consider this quite drinkable.
I usually get a glass of this whenever I go to Callahan's. Probably their most compelling and interesting offering.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
