Off tap at the brewery this beer was a clear golden color with a nice amount of rising carbonation and a pure white head. The retention was only so-so and the lacing not very good. The aroma was light, mostly pale malt and sweet malt. The flavors were simple, mostly the pale and sweet malt with some hints of bread and fruity esters that appeared as it warmed up. Nothing unpleasant but also not much to speak of. The mouthfeel was fine, the body was light/medium and the carbonation moderate.

 

Not bad. Dark yellow in the glass. A bit of foam that disappeared quickly. A metallic hops in the nose. Flavor is mostly malt--clean malt--with a somewhat odd hops afterbite. Nothing strong, just a flavor that pervades even the malt flavor and remains on your tongue when the beer is gone. Quite drinkable, but yet not quite worthy of a feature craft brew. I expected something a bit more. A poor imitation of Du Claw's "Funk" wheat ale. That said, it's definitely a session drink. Enjoy.

Served as a pale yellow beer with modest white puffy head. Smell is very light with only a slight sweet fruitiness to be found. Taste follows through on the smell with only a slight fruity sweetness present. Finishes very refrehing but with very little lingering taste. Very easy to drink, but nothing to revisit.

A clear, deep golden body is capped by a short but creamy head of white foam that holds well and leaves nice rings of lace at the outset. The nose is somewhat buttery and a touch fruity over a mild grainy maltiness. Its creamy and smooth in the mouth with a very fine, median carbonation that's just enough to awaken the tastebuds. But buttery diacetyl is again present in the flavor, and a domineering bitterness over-rides what grainy and bready maltiness is present - yet hop flavor is basically non-existant. It finishes with a slick butteriness, some short lived grain, and a lingering bitterness. If you enjoy buttery diacetyl this might be a good beer for you, but otherwise it seems a bit confused and slightly off-balance.
