This is a new release from Red Brick, a nut brown ale (hence the title). The ale is served cold from a pint glass.
Appearance: The ale is a deep brown that is borderline on black. There is not a lot of head to be seen though.
Smell: A biscuity malt aroma drifts out of the glass and is complimented by a light earthy hop smell.
Taste: The ale has a very pleasant toffee flavor that is not too sweet but provides just enough of a malt punch. The hops add a nice counterbalance without stealing the spotlight.
Mouthfeel: The ale has a pleasant flavor that finishes long.
Drinkability: This is a beer that I can envision drinking several of.
