First beer from Red Brick station. Got it because it was on cask at Churchkey and it was from Maryland.
Beer is light brown and kind of hazy. No head, no lacing, no carbonation. Looks ok.
Aroma is sweet with some malt notes, mildly spicy.
Beer is really thin and the flavor falls flat too. Mild malt notes and minimal spice. I forgot I drank it the moment my glass landed on the bar.

Served in a nonic pint glass at ChurchKey.
Another visit to the CK, another random cask offering. I love it. this one pours a clear copper-amber topped by a half-finger of white-ish suds. The nose comprises plenty o' toffee, earthen oak (or oaken earth, whichever), white wine, and citrus and floral hops. The taste holds notes of earthy caramel (as though there was a classic Reese's moment with a Werther's Original and some potting soil), greens, light spruce, and a touch of oak. The body is medium, with pretty much no carbonation (did I mention this was on cask?) and a thick, somewhat viscous feel. Not a bad Scottish Ale, but I've had better. Pretty easy to drink, regardless.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
