Let me start by saying if you're looking for a traditional Kolsch this is not the ale for you. This is something more - something much better in my opinion. This ale is brewed each winter and lager-ed for 4 months to be released in the summer. It has a very pleasant smooth maltiness that your traditional kolsch lacks. Outstanding. I serve it with sushi.
