Not sure if this is a one off, but let's hope so...
A: The pour is a dark amber color with an off-white head.
S: This beer smells just awful. Lots of butter to start things off with plenty of menthol/eucalyptus, and for some inexplicable reason, oregano. I usually expect spices in a "Noel" style beer, but not herbs.
T: The flavor is pretty much a rehash of the aroma, unfortunately. Intensely herbal with lots of oregano, sage, and menthol. There's a mild sweetness from some malt to it, but that's it's only saving grace.
M: The body is medium and so is the carbonation. Not that it's really all that important at this point.
D: This had to be a mistake because it's just terrible. Sorry SDBC, but this is another loser. I'd rather have another glass of Love Potion #9.
