On tap at San Diego Brewing Company. A fresh hop strong pale ale, I believe. The ABV is higher than a traditional pale ale.
A: Dark orange and transparent. The liquid was poured to the brim so there's no head. Nice color and good clarity.
S: Fresh cut grass with pine, tangerine, orange, and grapefruit. The hop profile is balanced by sweet caramel malt. Smells nice.
T: Caramel malt sits below candied grapefruit and orange flesh. There are light citrus rind notes and a smooth lower moderate bitterness. The citrus flesh is explosive, lingering in the aftertaste for some time. I get some grass and a lot of tangerine. The ABV doesn't make itself known in the taste.
M: Medium in body with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A good fresh hop strong pale ale. Malty, but good.
