A locals hangout that may appeal to that crowd, but I’ve visited much better breweries in the Tacoma area. Vibe was mellow, but I didn’t care for the lame wedding band soundtrack. There were only 5 or so actual Odin brand beers on tap. I was looking forward to trying their Hellas, but it wasn’t on tap and the bartender suggested their Pilsner, which was a mediocre light lager. I ordered an $11 watermelon mint salad that was okay except it was the size of a side salad. I ate my salad, finished my beer and left to find a better option.

I went to Odin Brewing last week with a bunch of coworkers and I really enjoyed the place. They had 15 beers on tap when I visited, including a couple of brews formerly of Hilliards Brewing, which Odin bought last year. The tripel was a stand-out for me; overall, the beers are quite decent. Service was good and the place has a neat build-out, if not super large. I'd definitely like to return some time and explore more of their less-widely-distributed beers.

I went to the Odin Bar which is in Seattle not the brewery which is seperate. It is small but nice. The only thing I would suggest that is in Seattle if they serve beer there are no Minors allowed. We had my two year old with me in the afternoon and they told me that he could not come in even though he was sleeping. We couldn't even sit outside! Anyway I got my friends to take him for a walk while I bought a couple to go and tried to tour the Factory later but we ran out of time and couldn't go. Maybe next time. They have really cool Dragon tap handles that they sell. And the beer was pretty good too.

Came to Asgar taproom and was very excited to try it out. The beer I have had was very good. The place itself is super tiny. It's very hard to find too. Servers were nice but were not knowledgeable about the beers other than What style the ale was. The beer is very reasonable to purchase for home. All in all is worth a visit, however I did expect more from the place.

A: Stopped by here on a Friday evening about 6PM. Down the road from Baron Brewing in a industrial park it is tricky to find with a GPS even but persistent I am. I drove past the UPS and other loading docks to get there. Inside you'll have some chairs, tables and a small couch to sit back. A small, two stool bar at the current 3 handles they have. About 6 patrons when I walked in and everybody was really cool. Dan, the brewer was also there serving and shooting the breeze with the customers. Very laid back, outgoing and generous. Very easy going place for an after work beer and a long work week
Q: Every Odin beer I have had to date has ranged from good to very good.
S: Outstanding. Dan and his sidekick were very helpful on pouring and answering questions. Very welcoming indeed.
S: Right now they have 3 handles pouring, they have been open less than a year so its a growing operation. The 3 they have are quality and I will take quality over quantity any day.
F: No food
V: Growlers to go are reasonablly priced and smaller samples are on the house.
