Served in straight pint glass. Poured a nice black, with a slight trace of red at the bottom of the glass, and had a rich, thick head that had very good retention and low lacing.
The aroma was fairly typical roasted malts, although they were nicely crisp and sharp. The taste was also fairly typical for the style, full, satisfying and malty.
The body was nicely full and smooth. Drinkability was very good, the beer is smooth and clean. Overall, a very nice brew. Worth trying if you see it.
