12oz can, no apparent freshness date. A foamy beige head caps a slightly hazed golden colored ale. Fruity hop character with caramel malt for aroma. Sweet grain, bread crust and caramel for a malt backbone pairs with pine and citrus hop bitterness; grapefruit, orange, and mango come to mind; earthy and a bit herbal as well. Moderately effervescent carbonation, resinous hop stickiness, dry earthy & piney finish with some mild off-flavors that are somewhat off-putting. This needs to be cleaned up a bit - it's been awhile since I had a beer with some off-flavors, and even though they're mild you can't survive in this market without absolute precision in your craft.

Found this on the mix a six rack at Binny’s. 6.5 ABV on the can with no visible dating. Looks the part, more golden than amber. Smells fantastic, I’m getting red berries...really like it.
Hoppy with a nice, dry, bite. I really enjoyed this beer. Glad I picked it up the single and will look for it in other formats.

5oz flight pour, golden with a little haze, good lacing. Nose of mainly fruits, berries, cotton candy. Taste adds pine and finishes with escalating bitter. Medium body and average carbonation.

Draft at Haymarket.
Dark orange, good clarity, lasting foam and some lace.
Aroma was malty and herbal, sandalwood and botanicals.
Taste was malt forward with an herbal hop character, mild like an English IPA.
Medium bodied with a little bit of caramel malt sweetness.
Overall wasn't impressed by this, lacked any assertive hop character.
