Lucky this was still available this evening when I popped in. On cask. Taken from notes about 30 minutes ago as I hate typing out full reviews on my phone.
Pours a light brass/apple juice-esque colour. Big soapy bubbles/head, don't stick around for the party. Not overly surprised, though, off cask.
After a midwhelming (not overwhelming, not underwhelming, just a step above 'whelming') appearance, the aroma starts to draw me in. Juicy floral hops, almost some honey, it's quite enticing and inviting. A touch of tropical fruit (mango, etc), juicy (RIP Big Poppa) is really the best term for it.
The round juicy notes the nose brought forth continue on into the taste. It starts off somewhat sweet, with that a honneysuckle suggestion, maybe some hibiscus before giving in to the temptation of the hops. More tropical fruit than I anticipated given the varietal. I get mango and other tropical fruits in wave backed up with a sweet background giving way to a pithy back end as it fades to bitter.
I'm really enjoying this beer. You should as well.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
