Pours clear amber with a thick and fine-bubbled buff head. Aroma has malty, hoppy and fruity tones - not spectacular, but inviting. Evergreen and rather bitter hops dominate the flavor, while malt and citrus notes co-star. Mouthfeel is firm and ragged, leaving a decidedly hoppy finish. This new kid shakes a mean blade of grass when it comes to brewing.

A - Deep yellow, clear, off white head, great lacing.
S - Dankness, like straight hop pellets. Very herbal and spicy.
T - Upfront, there are nice balanced herbal and grassy notes, touch of melon. A bit of astringent bitterness on the finish.
M - Medium bodied, low carbonation and lingering bitterness.
O - A really cool showcase of the Pacific Gem hops and the versatility of IPA, love all the brews in this series.
