Thanks to JBowengeorgia for this one. 16oz can poured into 12oz goblet. Poured a nearly solid black, just a hint of a reddish hue with about 1/4 inch of light tan head that low-moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma was chocolate and some roast, no real hop scent.
The flavor was pretty similar, with the being a bit more noticeable. The roast also lingered at the back.
The body was solid, but perhaps a wee bit thinner than I would have liked.
Drinkability was very good, the beer was and easily quaffable. Overall, a pretty nice brew, I might have liked a bit more chocolate, but I have a huge sweet tooth. Certainly worth trying if you get the chance.
