Reviewed from notes today at the pub.
This is described both as a golden ale and light pilsner. Huh.
Pale pastel yellow, lots of visible fizz ascending through it. A thin skim of foam across the top, but not long lasting, or leaving much lace. Nose is a little grainy and typical of homebrew, basic and unrefined. It was mentioned that this was brewed with 2-row brewers malt, roasted barley, and fresh Liberty hops. The flavor is very mild husky grain, with a vaguely bitter finish, suggesting trace hops.
Feel is a little bit thin and fizzy, it could be drier and more crisp. This was probably the most actively carbonated beer at the brewpub today. This is obviously their crossover beer for macro drinkers, easy to drink but little character overall.
