On tap for the 3rd annual Session Fest at Eagle Rock Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.

Billed as a bitter brewed with Helga hops.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is pretty plain but interesting as the first beer I have ever seen using the Helga hops.
