On tap for the 3rd annual Session Fest at Eagle Rock Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Billed as a mild brewed with blueberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, and oatmeal.
Pours a murky brown with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, oatmeal, blueberries, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with fruity and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that smells much better than it tastes but is interesting all around.
