On tap for the 3rd annual Session Fest at Eagle Rock Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.
Billed as a grapefruit Kolsch.
Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grapefruit juice, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with grapefruit and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a huge grapefruit flavor that is quite tasty.
