Copenhagen 16/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Stenbogaard's usual design with the strange little wheel and a brownish stripe.

Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a small patch of foam drifting around. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense and dominated by the malt base. Caramel and bread. Lightly fruity. Berries and citrus.

Soft carbonation. Soft, lightly prickly, slightly thick texture.

Flavor has strong fruity sweetness. Avoid being cloying. Followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingering caramel.

Not especially Belgian inspired. But if you are into fairly sweet beer this is certainly a caramelized possibility.
