Copenhagen 24/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Stensbogaards usual design with a black label with a orange stripe.
Pours clear dark brown with a small white head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam crawling of the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, Glue, brown sugar, nuts and metallic alcohol (impressive for a beer with an ABV of around 5).
Light carbonation and thin, watery texture.
Flavor has fairly strong sweetness followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering.
Not a wholehearted take on a Brown Ale. A bit disappointing.
