Served in a CollaBEERation tall snifter at the brewpub.
The first in apparently a line of collaborative brews made in conjunction with Lunar Brewing Co. It pours a cloudy pale straw topped by a finger of light cream foam. The nose comprises black pepper, very light clove, light banana, light lemon zest, and wheat. The taste holds notes of lemon zest, black pepper, clove, very light banana, light cantaloupe, Belgian yeast, and very light orange zest. The body is a rather light medium, with a moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a very nice tripel, something that makes me look forward to the next CollaBEERation beer.
