Plums in flavor and in the drink also plums a hint of coriander after which a boring dry finish is not particularly and weak in taste; a Belse Double with cheap means produced

Color dark brown, clear. Foam beige, durable, fine-bubble.
Aroma: very poorly, caramel, butter.
Taste: similarly, but caramel, fortunately butter is absent. Beer slightly acidic, which offsets the excess caramel sweets.
Hop bitterness, delicate, also balances the sweetness. Saturation high, it might interfere.

33cl bottle acquired via mail order from Belgium.
Poured a medium and cloudy brown color with a larger sized off white head.
Aromas of some dark fruits, smoke, roast, and spices. The smokiness was unexpected but really didn't detract.
Tastes of dark fruits, caramel, and lighter spices.
Body a tad on the thinner side.
Notes from and tasted on 1/11/08.
