500ml Bottle BBE Sep 2013: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard @ home on 7th Dec 2012.
Golden hue to this light brew: good, full head of snow white foam on top, looks good, clear and bright.
This stronger version of 'Worcestershire Way' is fairly sweet and although it uses the same hops it seems to have a bigger maltier aroma and taste than its weaker brother.
Biscuity, baked malts in the nose and mouth with the hops being pushed towards the end of each gulp to give a satisfying semi-bitter finish.
The body depth is fine with the alcohol being hidden nicely: a very pleasant brew, I like the sweeter brews.
