Nice Carmel color, crisp and a mellow after tast. Had the draft not bottle not sure how much of a difference.

A- This beer pours a jet black body with a thick sticky light tan head that last a good while. The body is a bit too thick to see all but a random trailing bubble.
S- The clean gentle hint of roasted malt gives way to a big dark green hops aroma that has some woody notes to it.
T- The soft green earthy hops have a dark herbal character to them with a soft hint of roasted malt that is more of a smoked hint and chocolate note before the green hops linger in the dry finish.
M- this beer has a medium-light mouthfeel but it has some creamy texture to it and no alcohol heat.
O- This is a nice mellow but full hop flavored beer with just a wisp of black malt flavor even though there is a good bit of depth to the malt character. Very nice and sessionable.
