Pours a murky dark-brown color with a lots of sediments. Leaves a medium top off beige head that dissolves slowly.
Pleasant aroma of dark malts, bread, caramel, licorice, dark fruits, raisins and christmas spices. The taste has a strong malt profile. Nice notes of roasted malts, dark bread, caramel and licorice with some Nice notes of sugar and dark and dried fruits to ballance it out. The finish has some nice bitter notes that goes very well with the roasted malt notes in the back. It leaves a long and strong aftertaste, and the high alcohol content are hidden really well in the flavour. Mouthfeel is silky and oily with a medium carbonation and a medium body.
This was impressing. Probably one of the better belgian dark ale out there.

Pours a dark brown with thick light brown head.
Smell is musty, with raisins, nuts, treacle and leather.
Taste is powerful and sweet, with notes of leather, raisins and brown sugar.
Mouthfeel is medium to full, well carbonated.
Overall, a complex and rich Belgian, that gets better with warmth.
