BWB's Pale Ale has a hazy golden-orange body and soapy off-white head that has pretty decent retention and leaves a few splotches of lacing behind.
The aroma is on the hoppy side for an APA, featuring grapefruit, bitterness, some pineapple type flavors and a good dose of pine resin.
BWB's Pale Ale has a flavor that follows the aroma, which is a good thing in this case. A touch of biscuity malt balances the beer out, but it does some from the background. Mostly I notice hops and just like the aroma they include grapefruit, pineapple, a punch of bitterness and a good bit of pine resin.
The mouthfeel is pretty moderate in both carbonation and body.
This is a pretty drinkable pale ale that is definitely worth a try if it is on-tap. It is nice and hoppy and I could certainly drink more than one.
