Jack Frost Holiday Porter has a dark brown body and a small, light brown head. Retention is OK, lacing is spotty.
The aroma reveals dark malts as a base, with noticeable spiced attributes and hints of dark fruit.
The taste pretty much follows suit. The first thing I notice are the spices, and directly after that roasted malt and hints of chocolate. Then, a pleasant and moderately strong flavor of dark fruits, including black cherry. A hint of hops in the finish.
Good amount of body a smooth feeling from the carbonation.
This is a nice porter/winter warmer. I hope Bandwagon brews this again.
