On tap at the brewpub.
A: The cream ale is a tad darker, a hazy brown color that, when compared to Two Goat's Cream Ale, looks like a brown ale. Despite that odd start, things got better...
S: The nose has strawberry essence, a sweet presence that mixes well with the cream and biscuity malt. Shortcake, anyone?
T: The biscuity malt, paired with the sweet pale malts (the cream ale portion) and strawberries is a poor man's version of Short's strawberry shortcake beer. While this version lacks the full sweetness from the cream, it does provide for a surprisingly good drink. Easily the best at Bandwagon. The strawberry is sweet and fragrant but never cloying.
M: Sweet and chewy, the combination of cream, biscuit and strawberry is good.

Strawberry Cream Ale has a hazy, dull yellow colored body. The white head is fairly solid looking, and manages to leave a few spots of lacing behind.
The aroma has strawberry and grain.
The strawberry is really potent in the flavor, especially up front. Lots of fresh strawberry that fades slowly into pale malt. The malt bill is very grainy, and I would guess this one is all malt. A hint of hops haunt the background of this beer, but just a hint.
Good mouthfeel on this one, with adequate body and a creamy feel. Might be a good candidate for a nitro-tap actually.
This cream ale is well-done, and I could see it being very popular, but I didn't love it. There is something about the strawberry up front that is a little too much for me. Solid beer though.
