On-tap at Bandwagon.
A: The ale is a coppery amber color, darker but retaining its orange-yellow highlights. A thin head.
S: Caramel and toffee, incredibly sweet with no sign of hops. Plenty of body here.
T: Yeah, it's really, really sweet. The caramel and toffee driving the body dominate and load up on the sweetness. I can't recall having an ale that was so malt-forward and so sweet at the same time. Surprisingly, the finish is very dry, making me want another sip. But man, this beer is wickedly sweet. No sign of hops either. Warming, the ale could pass for a late harvest brew.
M: Interesting, the fullness is all-encompassing, driving out everything except for the sweet malts and honey.
