Clear golden amber brew with a pile of foam in the wine glass. Aroma of pine and citrus, a pleasing sharp note along with the malt. It's not very sweet, and certainly not fruity or "juicy." MIneral finish with a twist of grapefruit peel.
There is nothing remotely NE about this, in spite of the fine print on the label— the bitter hops, the crisp mouthfeel. Maybe there is hint of slick in the mouthfeel, but no haze. Overall it is a pretty standard IPA but with less aromatics and more hoppy bitterness. From the 16 oz can.

Thank you CanConPhilly for this
16 oz can, dated 12/15/17, poured into a teku
A- A fairly clear golden straw color with a two finger white head.
S- Tropical fruits, stone fruits/peaches, citrus zest, grapefruit, some wet grass.
T- Citrus zest, grapefruit, some peaches, touch of pale malts, floral/piney finish.
M- Smooth, light to medium body, crisp
O- Really wouldn’t call it a NEIPA, but it is a good IPA none the less.

F - medium body and carb.
O - more bitter than most NE IPAs, but all the better for it.

Fresh can dated June 21st, 2017. Pours a rich golden hue with small head and some nice lacing. Smell is full of juicy, hazy, piney and fruity hops. Small, very light malt presence - slight sweetness but otherwise, it's all hops. Taste is phenomenal - one of the best beers I've had - starts off with a sweet pine, gives you a floral mid range, and a pleasing all hop - kerosene backbone on the finish. Believe this beer will stand up to some of the big boys out there like Blind Pig, certainly Sculpin, and Bell's Two Hearted. It is a hazy, juicy New England style - but without as much malt bill. I would put this beer in my top 10. Hope it becomes a regular offering from HMB Brewing.
