Pours a very dark brown color, almost black with a nice one finger dark brown colored head. Deep roasty malt notes with hints of sweet caramel and dark fruit as well. Aroma resembles a thick malty brew. Big caramel malt notes with hints of molasses, slight unsweetened chocolate, and a twang of dark fruit. Thick and smooth mouthfeel makes me think this had some addition of oats. Abv is unnoticed at first, but a slight alcohol presence is detected. Quite a nice extra stout with a full body.
