This is a decent pumpkin ale, but one of the kind that is very light in flavour, feel, and character. Unlike many, it has no pumpkin spices as far as I can tell from the aroma, taste, or label, only pumpkin.
The appearance is a weak point. It has hazy pale amber, a bit flat, with no real head, only a brief bubbly top immediately thinning to an off-white foamy ring and thin wisps. It leaves brief, very weak foam on the sides.
The aroma is light grain, apple cider, hints of pumpkin and apple.
The taste is light with light, thin, grain, hints of apple and vegetable/squash. The finish is lightly bitter with light grassy-lemon pulp bitterness. A very light doughy aftertaste follows. It is a bit flat and thin in feel, but still crisp nevertheless. It is pleasant and fairly drinkable, with the qualities at least holding up well.
