On tap at the brewery. Dark brown color, looks a little light for the style. Aroma is dark malts but no chocolate. Flavor was also missing the chocolate, was sort of watery, weak, not appealing at all. I did not care for this beer and thought it was a poor showing.

A: Pours a dark nearly opaque brown with a fair amount of tan head. Just some surface film retains, leaving reasonable lacing.
S: Very strong chocolate along with mild roasted notes. Pleasant, if a bit overly chocolatey.
T: Nice and mild, lightly roasty, with a chocolatey sweetness that comes in more through the middle and finish. Quite nice overall.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation.
Not the best beer I've ever had, but it's a fairly good one, and had I had it without seeing the label in advance I probably wouldn't have known it was only 3.75%. Definitely worth trying as a session beer, and it's good enough that I'm interested in trying the brewery's other lower alcohol offerings.
