33cl bottle best before 18.06.2023 (seriously?). Served in a cut tumbler. Dark brown with loads of head formation. Not much aroma, but a sweet molasses flavor, apparently the result of Caribbean cane sugar. Very sweet for a stout in my opinion; this would be much more appropriate as a rich brown ale or even a winter ale.

330 ml bottle, a gift. ABV is 5.8%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of dark malts, hints of chocolate and mild coffee. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel for its strength. Lacks the full and creamy mouthfeel of a good stout. The flavour is quite dry, notes of roasted malts and thin coffee. The dusty bitterness in the finish is too moderate. Drinkable of course, but very far from the most impressive stouts I’ve had.

This is really thin and not very good at all. Tastes like watered down coke but still just as carbonated. Don't sense any redeeming qualities. Yikes. I'd hardly call this an American stout

Pours a very dark brown, almost black colour. Smells mostly of dark, sweet, syrupy malts, and a hint of sticky fruits. Tastes very light at first, then the malt profile gets stronger, sweet, fruity caramel, and clean.
