Jóla Bryggj is brewed with great enthusiasm, and much is done to get the best quality and the best taste. The interplay between the sweet taste of the malt and the bitterness of the hops is very special.
Jóla Bryggj is especially suitable for ordinary entertainment and after Christmas food such as roasted meat, gas and bottle and beef steak.

Copenhagen 5/12 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Drawing of a potted poinsettia with it’s characteristic red flowers on the label.
Pours clear amber with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with caramelly sweetness and a light grainy sourness. Caramel and biscuit. Light sourness rummaging in the background.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is rather sweet with only a moderate bitterness for balance. Aftertaste is sweet with a light metallic tang. Lingers for a bit.
A bit on the sweet side even for a Vienna. But if you like the taste of caramel this is your beer.
