Copenhagen 5/3 2017. 60cl bottle from Rema1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Orange label telling me that this is a "hand brewed Abbey Brew". Sounds exhausting.
Pours clear light amber with white head. Settles as very thin fine layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is mostly malty and not very intense. Light caramel, brown sugar, banana. Some fruity citric sour notes but only very light bitterness.
Medium to strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium to light bitterness. Lightly bitter aftertaste.
Rather refreshing - but not what I would expect from a beer with the word "Abbey" as part of the name.
