Fermented Boat is a Belgian style Fruit Beer, brewed in September, fermented and then transferred to a 1000 litre conditioning tank with oak chip and fruit juice. It has naturally soured. The residual sweetness of the strong beer and the tannins from the oak help to balance the beer.

Copenhagen 30/7 2022. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgaard web-shop. What looks like an unruly forest with a part of it strangely illuminated.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, boozy, woody odor mingling with tart sour fruit. Tart unripe gooseberries, dark alcohol and oak barrel (even though they used chips).
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a mild sweetness followed by a strong, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a woody sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Not exactly well-balanced and harmonious but the wood and booze goes nicely in hand with the tart fruit.
