Forget about port. Sweet Temptation is our take on something for dessert. Even the dessert itself.

Copenhagen 18/8 2020. 66 cl bottle from Salling, Søndergade, Aarhus. Drawing of a Mermaid with a glass of stout on the label.
Pours clear dark maroon with a red hue. Small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity and dark odor. Dark but not too bitter chocolate, fermented cherries. Lightly roasted malts. Brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, slightly sticky, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is heavy sweet and sugary. Finish is sweet, boozy liquor-like.
I do not know how tempting I find this but it is certainly sweet.
