Dobbelt Bock is a classic German-inspired dobbeltbock of 7%. The golden, strong beer is suitable for a game stew. Marinate the meat for a few hours in some of the beer and enjoy the rest with the meal.

Copenhagen 30/11 2016. 60 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Two battling Rams on the label. Not the most original take on "Double Bock" that I’ve seen.
Pours clear light amber with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a flimsy almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma has a light fruity sweet scent and a more prominent sour bitter odor. Alcohol with metallic edge.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is slightly sweet followed by a harsh bitterness bordering on sourness. A little metal in the aftertaste.
A pretty straightforward strong beer not trying to be pleasant by any means.
